The Nuclear Physics Laboratory (NPL) at the Department of Physics of the University of Ioannina (Ioannina, Greece) was established in 1976 and has a long tradition of conducting quality research in the field of experimental nuclear physics, attracting and training young scientists and educating students in elementary and advanced physics topics.

Faculty staff members, postdoctoral fellows and PhD candidates, as well as a number of postgraduate and undergraduate students make up the NPL manpower.
